When life is all too hard and overwhelming, this is what I need. Time here, at the coast at sunset, looking out at deep blue water, crashing waves against shorelines, and rugged rocky coastlines. 
 
The warmth of the sinking sun, the salty breezes awakening senses...giving me time to reflect, unwind, shift mindset, and find hope. When I can't be at the coast, painting it becomes what I need instead. 
 
Either way, the coast in reality or painting its wonder and beauty, brings purpose, hope, and the inspiration and strength to keep going.
I hope it provides hope and comfort and time for reflection for you too as it does me in bringing it to life.
