"Darkness descended. The day didn't break me.
 
Pain came. The day didn't break me.
 
Fear threatened. The day didn't break me.
 
Grief arose. The day didn't break me.
 
Hope came. The day didn't break me.
 
Light arrived. The day didn't break me."   
 
This expressive and dramatic coastscape was the first painting created after a recent traumatic event. A reminder that however dark the day may be, however deep the pain, the confusion, the unknown...light follows.
