Where do you find your solace? Comfort? Peace? It's no surprise for those that know my work that I find it at the coast. What I've learnt over the years though is that it doesn't just come to us. We have to seek it. Making a conscious decision to take time out for ourselves is hard when life keeps throwing curve balls. But it's necessary. 
 
The coast on a balmy blue sky day brings refreshment, healing and nourishment for my soul, but so too does a moody, breezy, overcast day. 
 
The comfort and soothing melody of the waves crashing, the lush headlands, the fresh salty air against skin...that's all I need, and I'm content. Here is my solace. And I'll continue to seek it always.
