"We all have special places that serve as safe spaces. Apart from the comfort of home, when I need to get away from the challenges, frustrations, and pains of normal day to day life (if there is such a thing as a normal) I come here. Many of us do.
 
The coast is one of those places that consistently invites us to let go.
 
Here, the noise of the world is drowned out by the rise and fall of tides, breakers crashing into shoreline, and gusty breezes that help lift the weight and carry away tensions.
 
Standing almost defiant against the world, it's here on rocky shoreline I pause...and reflect...and scream...and cry...and pray...and breathe. Here I can safely let it all go, finding solace, comfort, and hope despite the tempest swirling around me...and within."
