"There's seasons when it's harder to see beauty and feel joy. When the world feels heavy with grief, noise, exhaustion, and uncertainty. Somewhere, somehow, in amongst it all - even though it's harder to see - beauty and light still exists.
This piece is an invitation to look for those things.
To choose light even though darkness threatens.
To keep reaching for quiet when a world feels too loud.
To remember that joy is not something we just stumble on, it's a choice we make daily despite circumstance.
These bright pinks and luminous turquoise waters, interlaced with subtle shimmering gold, were painted as an act of defiance against despair. A reminder that light and beauty still exists - especially here at the coast.
A place where joy survives.
A place where happy lives.
A place for holding onto beautiful."
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which can be more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
