"With its threatening sky and tempest sea crashing against rugged headlands, this is not a shoreline many would call comforting.
Yet, beneath the weight of the low-hanging storm, I find solace here.
The fierce turbulence doesn’t threaten; it becomes my refuge. Crashing waves encourage release, an exhale of what I have tightly held, and the retreating ebb and flow of water washes away the pain.
In this meeting of sky, sea, and shore, my anxiety eases, tension fades...and my heart grows lighter.
I hope this artwork brings you the same comfort for a heavy heart that it does me."
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which can be more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
