The coast can be a temperamental place. One moment it's warm and muggy and the relief of cool water is sought after, but very quickly a southerly breeze can sweep in bringing with it cloudy skies that hover, causing air temps to drop and tempest waves to rise and batter shorelines. I love the temperament of the coast.  There's comfort and solace for me here. 
 
Knowing it can change so quickly is a reminder that life can be like that too. It reminds me to enjoy every season I'm in, regardless of circumstance or pain or trial or challenge. After all, as quickly as the grey skies sweep in threatening storms, they can be gone again just as quick, in it's place, new seasons to cherish, new joy, new light... new hope.
 
I hope this special piece reminds you to enjoy whatever season you're in.
