It feels like I've been holding my breath most of the year. Through pandemics, lockdowns, health issues, family issues, home schooling...it's been a tough year. For all of us! The coast is where I exhale. Here I can find restoration, comfort, solace, quiet, calm, healing and hope. The coast is beckoning me to exhale. With borders now open I've already planned my next South Coast visit. Dreaming of that first glimpse of the ocean again after so long, the first sound of the waves breaking, the fresh coastal breeze against my skin, salty air filling my being, cool water lapping at my feet over fine golden sands...I won't even care if it's overcast, drizzly and raining! That is the beauty of the coast for me. It embraces and restores, regardless of the weather.
The coast is where my exhale waits.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
