What the heart remembers can be vast and obscure, silent but profound, subtle yet powerful...impacting our very being. It's not just a scene or place, it can be a moment, a feeling, a memory that lingers dormant until triggered by the smallest thing. 
 
This artwork embodies that for me. Warm washes of pink, olive, and ochre that seek to capture the joy and love felt for a place that holds my heart. Memories of a place where anticipation and hope build as I journey closer, of a place where the sunset overhead embraces both myself and the beckoning coastline in a warm gentle hug. Memories of a place where time slows and my soul exhales; content, loved, held. This is what the heart remembers.
