The changing patterns of the tides always amazed me as a kid. It was a hard concept to get my head around; that the alternate rising and falling of the sea, twice a day, was due to the attraction of the moon and sun. My dad loved fishing at the coast and it was always dependent on the tides...for some reason this little seascape made me think of him and his 'turning tides'.
A moody seascape, it captures the colours of the moon and sun, night and day, and the tides either rising or falling.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
