Through the Haze
23 x 23 x 5.5 cm
Framed in Ash
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas
Have you ever been out far enough at sea - whether on a boat, surfboard, SUP, etc - and looked back to the shoreline and everything is hazy? Even standing at a lookout or shoreline and looking across a bay of water to the other side gives the same hazy impression sometimes. This little artwork reminds me of those moments. Moments that could be a metaphor for life really. For feeling lost, confused, unsure...and then everything starts to shift into focus and we can see clearly again. We have direction. We have clarity. Sometimes, it takes a longer and more concentrated effort to find that though. I encourage you through this little artwork to keep looking. Regardless of how hazy life appears, there will be clarity and hope to move you forward - to reach the shore and find rest. A rest that ultimately brings peace and quiet and calm to a tempest, difficult season.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
