We've had so much rain over recent times - apparently we're in a La Nina season here in Australia. While so much rain can dampen spirits and cause unexpected flooding, what results afterwards is beautiful lush scenery. As the soaking continues with the sun’s warm rays; the earth is made new with vibrant green fields and pastures, and wild flora and foliage bloom in abundance...a feast for grazing animals and fauna.
This colourful textured landscape captures the essence of this process…horses grazing in open lush pastures fringed by bountiful waterways and nourished trees and bushes. I love the result of a summer soaking.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
