Lost In The Moment

I always get lost at the coast. In a good way...not literally (although that has happened on a coastal walk once!) From the moment I arrive I want time to slow, to stand still. I love the warm days spent cooling off in fresh aqua waters, and long barefoot walks after rain, but I love most the end of day when the breeze picks up and the sun sets low casting the most incredible rays of warm light across the sky. In those moments I truly want time to stop. I get lost in the moment between day's end and night's fall...in those moments I can exhale deeper, my spirits are lifted, my heart rate slows, and I close my eyes, face lifted towards the heavens where I give thanks for another day passing and another one to come.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
