There's something about light that brings hope. Maybe it's because with light, darkness can't exist. There's nothing more spectacular than the light of a sinking sun that blazes all shades of warm pinks, orange and yellows across the sky. It's like a canopy of light enveloping the earth below. And when that earth below is a beautiful shoreline and headlands, the result is even more mesmerising. This colourful land/seascape on linen is inspired by this light - the light that brings comfort, warmth, joy, hope, peace. Yes, let there be light...always.
