Sometimes it takes a considered effort to find time. When unexpected storms and waves come our way its all we can do to hold on and ride them out. In amongst those trials it's hard to catch your breath let alone find time to purposefully 'just be'. I've found I need to do that though in order to get through the next wave that often comes crashing before I've come up for breath from the last. So finding time for myself means pausing to wonder and be renewed by nature; the beauty of a calm bay fringed with lush banks, pretty Spring trees on a walk, or a soft lilac sky at dusk dotted with clouds...this little painting on beautiful linen came to life reminiscent of these thoughts.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
