The tempestuous ocean. The rugged shoreline.  The sinking sun over windswept headlands at dusk. All these and the colours that fuse them together feel like home to me. This original palette knife seascape is expressive and bold, yet it's soft palette is soothing and calming - a metaphor in itself for the ocean. This piece was also created after a time away from my studio...so it was a cathartic and therapeutic session that saw this expressive artwork come to life. It certainly felt like I was 'home'. I hope it instils that for you also.
