    Empower is defined as "to make stronger and more confident, give power to..." and there's nowhere I feel more empowered and strengthened than the coast before or after a storm. The coast is empowering in itself, but there's something about it with moody dark skies, tempest stormy waters, and lush headlands soaked with rain that evokes strength and resilience.
     
    Not only that, it's a reminder that darkness doesn't exist when light evades...that warm golden splash of light breaking through grey clouds inspires hope, endurance, and courage to keep going.
