Are We There Yet?

How many times as parents have we heard this from our kids! So many trips to the coast with my kids when they were younger, and the "are we there yet?" usually started about 1/2 hour in of our 90 minute drive. Then again about an hour in...and about 15 minutes after that...and my response was always met with a disheartened "ohhh", until the "are we there yet?" was met with my "nearly!". Then they'd sit up straighter in their seats with their excited little faces peering out the car windows so as not to miss the first glimpse of the ocean. This textured coastal landscape reminded me of that "nearly" stage, I hope it reminds you of happy family holidays to the coast too!
