We all feel a little lost sometimes. Trying to understand what’s happening. Why. How. And questioning when the hurting will ease and our quality of life will be restored. Fearful it may never. Have you been there? It can be lonely going through the hard, dark, painful stuff…even if you have support and others around you, you can feel so overwhelmed and alone. What I’ve learnt over recent times is that it’s completely ok to feel like this, and I’m certainly not alone in feeling so. That acknowledgment is the first step forward to healing. Trying to find my way back to ‘self’, and what ‘self’ actually looks like moving forward is the challenge…and inspiration in this little painting.
Wandering a shoreline; orphaned by the sheer majesty of a cloudscape overhead, and with the sea and landscape cocooned around me I find comfort. Quiet stolen moments to reflect on where I’ve been…where I currently am…and where I’m going; in search of self.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone of my work which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space. Thank you!
